Seems all my decent ones are packed away in boxes and not scanned.... most all the ones from my digital camera are dark and/or blurry.
So here are a couple oldies I already had scanned:
One of the first bands I played in, I'd been playing out about 2 years at this time. I'm the nerdy one on the right with the Gibson Super 400:
Playing an acoustic duo at a private fundraiser, that's at-the-time U.S. Vice President Walter Mondale, I'm second to the right in the lighter hat:
Playing steel in a small "studio theater" in Nashville, that's Marty Stuart on guitar behind me:
Playing in the worship band at Central Christian Church in Las Vegas, I'm again on the right, by the horns:
Playing guitar with Johnny Farina in Mexico City last August, camera accidentally set to black and white, I'm on your left this time:

From an article in the Indianapolis Star a couple of months ago,
here's me:
and I'm playing with two of the best Western swing musicians in the Midwest, Jamie Walter (bass) and Slick Andrews (guitar, vocals):
We normally have a full band (twin electric lead guitars, drums) but this was a last-minute "night before" show I booked, so we made do with what we had....and it went over great!

Jim, someone with a Gibson Super 400 is hardly a nerdy one

Hanks, part II:
Is it wrong to play an Emmons and wear a Sho-Bud t-shirt?
Beats this shirt, I guess. Asbury Park, New Jersey. I think my first gig ever. All I was doing was raising and lowerering my e's. Heck, my LKL and LKR weren't even unfolded!

Jussi,
How rare are those Bigsby triple necks? And how do you play American instruments with European 220 electricity?

Me & my band "Country Junction". This is at our regular saturday night gig, The Dog House Tavern in Guthrie KY. I'm playing the Emmons P/P, that's Alan Rudd on lead guitar, Jim Worley on bass, and we now have a new drummer "Roy Parker" who is not in this picture. Hey, would you like to hear a MP3 audio sample of us, just click on to our website at

I don't know how to post pics on the SGF, but I did send a picture of me playing live to another web site quite some time ago, and it's still there.
http://www.planet.eon.net/~gsimmons/shobud/gallery.html
It's the second last photo in the thumbnail gallery, and in it I am playing PSG with a rock band, not a country band. Don't let the cowboy hat fool you.
