I was really diggin' the clip and the playing and then it dawned on me that that may be the ultimate marketing tool for instructional courses.

I get something out of all of the teaching materials I've bought but it's nice to have something like a video clip that shows me exactly what I am going to get before I buy it... a test drive of sorts. And in this case, a direct hit. I'll buy one the second it's available.
[This message was edited by Doug Garrick on 23 April 2006 at 09:20 AM.]

Thanks for all the kind words, & a big Thanks to Joey Ace for instigating this project.
I hope it will help to assist & inspire steel players everywhere.
It's very humbling to realize that Ralph developed this style back in the late '50's & early '60's, first on a home-made pedal steel, & then of course on the Fender 1000.
Best wishes,
Al Brisco

Very cool - great work you guys! Al, it reminds me of listening to you on the Opry North radio show all those years ago. You sounded great back then and you still sound great.

Herman.
I'm not 100% sure what you're talking about, but I think I know, so I'll try to help.

First of all, you can correct your own mistakes by clicking on edit above your post. There's no need to post a separate correction, and it's easier for the readers.

Al's site is www.steelguitarcanada.com
There is no "ZumEnn" link there. I suspect you meant the "Sho-Pal" link which is halfway down, on the right.

If that's the case, the story next to the pictures gives the names of all the band members. Al is playing the Steel, which he built. It was soon replaced with the Fender 400, for obvious reasons.

Hope this helps.
