Hey Paul, Great videos.

I hear you were in the studio with my nephew, Matt Kennon (Ferguson) today. I hope he didn't tell you any ugly stories about me or visa versa.

Take care and tell Mom & Dad hello for me.

Michael, I don't know if this will help you or not, I had to download and install Quicktime before I could see the videos. Can you get to the website at all? You should be able to hear the audio clips without Quicktime. Wish I could help more. Good luck.

I got to see Paul live for the first time at the Dallas show. Sat right down front on the floor and was captured by a fantastic rendition of Cold Cold Heart!! SUPERB!
Thanks for sharing the four clips. I enjoyed the blues thing & Don't try this at Home.

Isn't Paul's right hand technique fasinating to watch? It's more like a classical guitar player's right hand than a steel player's in the way that he is blocking with his finger (pick) tips, most of the time. (Funny thing, because Brent's right hand technique is more traditional to a steel player's with the use of the the thumb and middle finger).

Me, I'm still trying to make all the way through a song without flubbing it up somewhere along the way. (At 52, I'm just glad to be able to play at all, actually).

Can you imagine what a year or two of working with players of this calibre would do for you?

Les

"Ballerina"..........I got choked up. Beautiful tune, with a truly emotive and passionate delivery. And I learned a new 1 & 2 raise lick along the way.

Thanks to all of you for your nice comments!

Tommy White,
I have a request I wish you would put up a video of your solo version of Amazing Grace so everyone can see just how deep your well is. Out of ALL the times we have jammed, that moment when you played it as a solo piece still stands out. Brilliant work.

To all,

Thanks for visiting the website.
