A while back I had the pleasure of a concert by a very lovely lady playing a harp. She let me feel her hands to check the thickness of the callouses on her fingers; didn't seem to be much there but the music was terrific. When I played a 6 string the callouses on my fingers were so thick they would peel off at times. I really like the tone that Bobbe gets with his. I think Chet Atkins used his nails also.

Bobbe sounds great of course, but I'm also impressed with the tone of that Magnum. If Bobbe says it's good - then you know it is. I hope to get a closer look at one of these soon. Thanks Bobbe.

Bobbe would get a better tone with black nail varnish rather than the pink that he normally uses. Also the Magnum would be a better guitar if they designed all the frets to be parallel rather than have one or two of them angled like the one Bobbe is playing on. He had to slant the bar around to play over these angled frets. Image

Ken! Yer-a-killin' me! Ha! Ha!

Yea, those derned bent frets. Thank goodness I have really bent fingers on my left hand. (And a warped mind to match)

Gary, I was testing your memory! My camera man got sick, he should be OK Monday, possibly tomorrow.
The triple neck Bigsby is at the shop and ready to go. Boy, it's sound is a killer! I hope it translates well to the PC world.
Thank you Gary, I won't let you down.
