I'll be at the Stagecoach Ballroom in Fort Worth on New Years Eve. Because of a mass of confusion that started in Sept, I won't be playing with another band thatI could have. However, that (Stagecoach)is my regular Sunday gig..Matter of fact, I'm heading there to play this afternoon.

I'll be playing New Year's Eve with the Swains at the Little Red Hen in Seattle--now all "non-smoking" (new state-wide smoking ban). Come by for a breath of fresh air (and, I hope, not *too* stale E9 licks...)

BTW, the Swains were chosen this month by SEATTLE magazine as best local band--hey, somehow we're popular with the high end realtors, cosmetic dentists, and other upscale readers of this slick local mag!

I'll be on pedal steel this year with the Johnny St.Clair Band at the Williamsburg, Virginia Moose Lodge. Johnny's one helluva country singer and has some great CD's out. We'll be kickin' it off around 8:30 PM. We have a guitar player, bass player, and a drummer coming up from Nashville to work it. I don't know them but they're the same guys who play on his CD's and from what I've heard, they're pretty good so it should be a lot of fun....JH in Va.

No place. Again, I can't buy a job in this area. I have worked New Years Eve with Con Hunley for the past 10 years and he can't find anything either. I guess we're either too old or just don't play enough instruments! Again, excuse my bad attitude.
