It was great to see Stu at the ROPE Show the other night. I was thrilled that he was given the award. Stu, you have definitley earned it!

Hey Stu sorry for the late reply but somehow this thread escaped me. You deserve this award for all of the great playing you have done over the years.
Congratulations on a job well done!!!!! Are you still going to church in Madison? Since we moved to the church across the interstate I sure have missed you. Remember when we played down in the basement for the potluck dinner? That was a hoot

What can I say? I have known Stu since he was a kid back in France in the 50's. He was a great player on the lap steel and later progressed to Pedal Steel and finally finding his way to Nashville where he has made his way to become the legendary muscician that we hear today. I am so proud that he has received this award and cannot think of anyone I would rather see have this recognition. He has played with so many artist such as Kitty Wells, Dolly Parton, Porter Wagoner, Faron Young and many others including Mandy Barnet at the present. His interpretation and talent are on many recordings that we hear nearly every day are challenging and greatly enjoyed. CONGRATULATIONS, FRIEND. YOU ARE A TALENT TO BEHOLD. GOD BLESS.
