Dick, I hate to say it, but at 27 I've had all kinds of foot problems (unrelated to steel guitar), including Plantar Fasciitis. I found the cure, Birkenstock arch supports. Pretty pricy at around $50, but cheaper than the Doc's $400 custom supports that did NOTHING for me.
EDIT: I now recall that the Birkenstocks were recommended by a chiropractor. I CANNOT live with these things, for very long.<font size="1" color="#8e236b"><p align="center">[This message was edited by Ben Slaughter on 06 June 2005 at 09:58 AM.]</p></FONT>
