Bobbe , This is absolutey brilliant. I am left speechless. I have seen other posts with clips from great players such as Tom Brumley and others. Perhaps you can tell us how you do it? There must be a technique to those rolling harmonics!

Bobbe,

That is absolutely wonderful!

I am the proud owner of "Bobbe Seymour Live," "Soulful Steel," "Priceless," and even the "Bobbe Seymour Legal Defense Fund" CDs. Anyone who doesn't own any of these is missing some great playing. In fact, anyone who doesn't own all of them is missing some great playing.

Sounds like "Steel Guitar Classics" is another great one.

Bobbe.

Did you use the 12th,7th and 5th fret on these chimes?
Sounds awsome....really love your playing.

I got this from Bobbe this weekend. If you think the clip is good, the CD will knock your socks off. The arrangements and back-up musicians are top notch, and Bobbe's tone and execution are out of this world. Bobbe & Stu with a tribute to Faron...that's a winner. However, I'm pushing for Priceless II. It should have been a box set to start with. What do you say guys...let's ride him about it!

I've already told you how much I love that steel on Rose City Chimes but I wanted to mention the fiddle playing is beautiful also. Probably some body that's been playing at least a couple months.

Howard! Enjoyed the fiddle players huh?, you should have heard them after they tuned up!
I complimented them on the nice major seventh chord they put on the end of one song, and they said, what major seventh? That was supposed to be a plain major chord!

(I guess being out of tune can help once in a while! Never hurt my career!)

I thank all of you very much for you nice words.

"Rocky Top" and several other cuts can be accessed by going to my web-page: www.steelguitar.net and punching on the song titles you wish to hear.
Yea, "Rocky Top" sure is a weird version, but we all had fun doing it that day, I had some of the old Barbra Mandrell band playing on this cut. A crazy bunch they were too! Mike Toppins of the Bill Anderson group played banjo, and lead guitar,a multi talented guy!

Yes Jody, I'm so glad I'll be able to meet you in person along with so many of my forum friends and customers in CT this coming fall. I wish I could have made it last year but my double booking didn't permit it. My fault.

Don Poland, go listen to "Rocky Top", Pat Kelly, thank you for the appreciation you have shown me on my CDs.

in appreciation

Bobbe, I can't wait for your next CD. Your latest release has really inspired me. Your rendition of "Tennessee Watlz" is one of my favorites. Thanks for including it among the "Classics". What great feeling and emotion in an old standard..especially your special touch after the piano break....thanks. Wish you and Lloyd would do some work together. That would be amazing, and historical.

BS, Long time no see.I was fortunate back in the 60's to hear BG # E play Rose City Chimes in the dressing room in Columbus Ohio when they both worked for ET. I think BG would be proud of your rendition. Hope to see you soon Jack
