Hi Henning
thanx for your reply
did you know that you can send gear by surface mail(boat)which is cheaper that air
you can have the gear arrive in England where VAT is only 18%. UK is part of the EEC
so then it's clear to go to DK.
Spain's VAT is 15 %
i'll agree w: you on the Session 400 LTD
Which amps are Peavey proposing to Steelers in Europa right now ?
Which amps are you proposing to young (or older) steelers right now ?
Could you write Mike Brown on this as you have done in the past and keep buggin' them about this ?!?!

Thanks for your enthusiasm, CrowBear, but I won't buy a PV amp. I never heard one that I liked (except maybe for the Classic-series for 6string) and besides, PV amps are the ugliest amps I know... sorry Mike!

Thanks for your efforts, CrowBear. I will continue to monitor this and gather the data until July 1st, just like I said that I would.

I guess that the cosmetic look of Peavey amps don't satify everyone's taste, but I don't believe that everyone has seen the Nashville 1000 "look". I think that it is very pleasing to the eye. But, I don't hear with my eyes. I make a judgement by what I hear.
[This message was edited by Mike Brown on 09 January 2003 at 07:40 AM.]

I bought a Nashville 1000 from Bobbe Seymore and it is a great sounding amp. I really like the tone. Each european player should try this baby! And should try Bobbe Seymore's Shop!

I´d love to have a Nash 1000, but I can´t afford one, so I guess I´m not really qualified to take part of this. However, I think it´s a bit lazy of Peavey not to make a transformer that fits outside the U.S.A.
I stick with my old Session 500 ´til I can afford a Nash 1000, and then I´ll buy an own transformer ta adapt it to 220 VAC if that´s not standard then.

CrowBear, it should work now. I had my provider forward all mail to another adres, but I cancelled the other account and forgot to change the setting at my provider. I already wondered why I got no e-mails last week. Image

i have gotten 3 more requests on the Nash 1K
that makes 43
i managed to get 2 steelers to go along w: me so there are 3 Nash1000 being bought in the US and they will make their way on over here.
we are well aware that the warranty will be Null and Void, but heck, we'll take that risk like others have done before us here !

if i understand, the last PV amps that were exported to Europa was 5 years ago ?
Planned obsolescence eh ?

Bobbeeee has mentioned over on his forum that PV is coming out w: a new Steel amp: http://pub79.ezboard.com/fsteelguitarnashvillefrm1.showMessage?topicID=427.topic
Monsieur Brown, will this new model be available for Xport ?

Would it be possible to get the schematics
on the Nash1k from Mike Brown so we could make a modification on the power supply ourselves i.e. build in a new 220V supply?

If we know what voltages the power supply
is supposed to deliver, it is a fairly simple
task to replace it with a new one.
