I was a teenager living in Las Vegas when Bobby's version was on the radio. He was local then, used to see him and Wynn Stewart on the Bob Scott TV show. Locals Gentleman Jim Pierce on piano, Ralph Mooney, Johnny Legget, Freddie Byrd on bass (Leggett's wife)
I used to go to the Golden Nuggett and hear Freddie and Candy Bee duet on Mohair Sam. Those were the good ol' days.

Bill Phillips also had a cut of it as well. I don't know who played steel on this one, but it was some fantastic playing, whoever it was. If you get a chance to hear it, be sure to do so!
