I think I'm a Buckaholic too. Should I be attending meetings or something? Is there a cure? I learned a lot of Mooney licks by slowing down the Buck Owens sings Harlin Howard record and playing it over and over until I could figure it out. We didn't have tab until years later.
I got to see Buck perform live several times when he had Don Rich,Tom Brumley,Willy Cantu and Doyle Holly. That was quite a show.

Steve-
Try to find 'Live in London' if you can...
I don't think it's out on CD yet (c'mon Sundazed!) but it's a must-have live record from '69 with the great Jay Dee Maness on steel.
He turns in a wild solo on the tune "A Happening in Londontown" and his back-up work on tunes like "Sing Me Back Home" and "Happy Times" just kicks ass.
Can't wait to see those Ranch videos.

Hey Steve, come on by the Tractor Tavern in Seattle tomorrow night. I will be playing with a band called 'the Buckaroosters', all Buck all the time. It will feature two steels, Don Pollack and myself.

Hey guys, just saw Buck at the Crystal Palace last weekend both Fri and Saturday nights and he has a live internet feed of his show that's available to those certain "Buck-a-holics" out there. Im sure if you go to his website (www.buckowens.com) you can find out more..Terry was also in fine form on his Sierra Session 10. Buck was also playing with Dwight for New Years...
