Should I modify this steel (66 P/P)?

Congrats Randy:
The 66 Emmons is my personal choice of favorite Steel Guitars . . . I have 2 of them! Mike Cass does my work on them (that is, what I can't adjust myself) *and he does have to get me out of hot water once inawhile. In my opinion there's no better P/P man in Nashville than Mike Cass.
Let me say I have also met Brian Adams over in East TN, and I've heard tremendous things about his work. My friend Mike Sweeney absolutely swears by him so he must be good. However, Mike Cass has always treated me fairly and gave me terrific personal attention when working on my guitars. I'm sure their are several others around who are good at working on them, but when my 66's need repairs or modifications I generally call Mike Cass. Nick
