quote:
Who cares who it is....just enjoy it....

Too many times this forum gets too wrapped up in the name game.....

because it is history, it should be recorded accuarately. I for one want to know, accurately, who was on a particular session, that's why I listen to Eddie Stubbs on WSM, that is why I read the session credits on records and CD's, that's why I have visited the archives in the basement of the Country Music Hall of Fame doing research. Is it being "anal?"... I don't think so. Judging from what I see and have seen on this forum, it is important and interesting to know who was on a particular session, and this forum provides a really good source to get that information, either by the artist who performed on the recording, or someone like Kevin Owens, Bobbe Seymour, or Al Udeen. Just my .02 cents worth

Well, I don't think that 'anal' was a word used here.

My point was to those getting upset that thier 'speculation' was being challenged instead of the documented fact.

I also enjoy knowing who plays on what with who and when...it is interesting history.

History is based on fact not speculation.

All in good fun.....
