To answer many emails recently received about this:

YES! The Forum Participants photo*** is planned again -- keep reading Image

Here's the plan ... it's worked very well before (as Smiley knows Image :

On Saturday at 6 pm,
let's meet in the
open, marble-floor lobby-area
between the Carter booth and Scotty's registration tables.

We can take photos then and put faces with names...

Also, if you'd like to identify yourself as a Forum member on your nametag, we will have small bright-colored stickers available at the Carter booth, starting on Thursday afternoon. Please feel free to come by to pick up your sticker and place it on your nametag ...

*** Dennis Atkins and any others wondering about this: I've given it some thought and here are my thoughts:
As for spouses and children of Forum Participants, our challenge is in fitting into the photo each year:
just all the Forum Participants, whether they post or just read the forum. So my response is: yes, it would be nice to have spouses and other relatives included, but no, we will not be planning on that (to be sure we can fit all the Forum participants into the photo). Here is the 2000 ISGC Forum Participants Photo, for example.

It could be a better crowd but I guess they feel they are happy with the numbers they get now
......Last year the count was somewhere around 5,000 so I don't think you or your boycott cronies will be missed! If you want to continue your 100 man crusade, do it in another thread because personally I don't give a damn one way or the other whether he makes it OR who makes it for that matter. The convention is not centered around the Hall Of Fame inductee's. If it were, it would not be leaked every year. The only people who go to the convention for the sole purpose of the Hall Of Fame induction are those who are being inducted and their families. NOW, back to the original subject of this thread:

WHO ALL IS GOING TO ST. LOUIS FOR THE CONVENTION?

I already have my plane tix and hotel reservation. Since I quit my job for health reasons, I'm not sure if I can spring for the rest of the costs. I've been trying for 30 years to get there. I hope I can make it happen.

Yes, I'll be there. Playing on Thursday afternoon. Looking forward to seeing a bunch of old (and aging!) cronies, and making some new friends. Image

I went last year so it'll have to wait til next year to go again. I'll miss the comradory as well as all the new "toys" to drool over.

Yes Don, there is a shuttle from the airport to a number of hotels, I just can't remember if the one you're staying at is on it's route.

The Adams Mark has it's own shuttle from the airport to the hotel. You can either make advanced arrangements or call from the "red" phone when you arrive.

Mike , Not everyone is going to agree with you and if it bothers you so much, maybe you should chill out a little.
Myron, as I stated, I could care less EITHER way. What bothers me is the fact that this subject has been whipped to death a dozen times with the same ending, NOTHING CHANGED! It's a case where instead of the squeaky wheel getting oiled, the cart just gets parked instead.

James, I have not been appointed to any post by either side of whatever nor do I care to be. Yes, we both keep digging but the difference between us is when I finish digging, I usually put someone else in the hole and cover it up! Image

My Dad and I have attended the ISGC last few years.
He is currently visiting for 10 days helping fix up the house we have for sale and do some repairs on the house we just bought.

If we're still speaking by the end of said visit, we'll both be there! (the status of his/my ISGC trip fluctuates with each project Image)!
