Behrenger tube "scam"?

I see there are two ways to do it with tubes and transistors, I always felt the high voltage tubes got that sound, like the Musicman and Peavey hybrids with the tubes on the output and transistors up front, for sure with the tubes on the output is the more expensive way. I even sold my Twins in favor of the Peavey Classic and Heritage I own, the Peaveys cost a fraction of the Twins and sound great to me. Whether you like Behringer or not, they have a lot of bang for the buck

I always enjoyed the transistor radios from Japan circa 1965. The more transistors the better. One with 22 transistors really only had 12 doing anything. The others were just to add to the count, 'cause, the more transistors, the better the radio.
