There is a tune called "The Last Will and Testament of a Drinking Man" that I used to hear on the radio years ago, but I don't know who sang it. Other classics:
Barstool Mountain: Moe Bandy
Bottle, Oh Bottle: Johnny Bush (one of the most graphic "drinking songs" ever IMHO )
Don't Tell Mama I was Drinking: ? ( the guy who did "Smoke Rings in the Dark" )
Hose Cuervo: Shelly West
Tequila: ? ( The Wes Montgomery version is my favorite )
It Won't Hurt: Dwight Yokum

Yes Yes - Barstool Mountain.
And don't forget the Joe Stampley Tune:
Whiskey Chasin'.
This is a little known tune that I play often. Each time I play this song at a new club I am overwhelmed by people asking about it. It is a great song.

"She´s Looking Better Every Beer"
(I have it by NRPS but someone must have done it before them)
"She´s Looking Better By The Minute" (practically the same thing - I have a version by ET)
and did anyone yet mention "Up Against The Wall Redneck Mother"?

Can't believe no one mentioned these George Jones songs:
If Drinkin' Don't Kill Me (Her Memory Will)
The King is Gone (So Are You)

Then there's:
Crash on the Highway (Roy Acuff)
Whisky and Wimmen (John Lee Hooker)

Don't know if you want to get over into Bluegrass, but there are plenty there.

There's a song by a band from Austin called The Meat Purveyors called "Tallboy" which is really funny... and really good stuff, another one called "Morning After" which is a sort-of drinking song (a waking-up-in-jail-hungover-recalling-last-night song to be exact) both on their album "More Songs About Buildings and Cows" available from Bloodshot... I really like both of those. A bit more in the bluegrass direction, but not a whole lot of folks will have heard those.
