I always liked "The Snowing" song.

Snowing that your door is always open
and your path is free to walk.

Steeling is still legal in Arizona

The last line of America's National Anthem is a prime example:

.....and the home of the brave..PLAY BALL!

Lead singer in a band I was once in sang, "Moonless Past" instead of "Moonlit path" in San Antonio Rose.

In another band I was in, the guitar player was singing I Love the Way You Love Me. I noticed that the "Sappy old movies" line wasn't coming out too clear. I just had to ask him what he was saying there. He told me: "Sabado movies"... And he doesn't even speak Spanish. I was picking one night in a dive in Clarksville, TN. The singer was singing "I Had A Beautiful Time" - Haggard.
Instead of:
I poured out my feelings
While you poured the wine
He sang:
I pulled out my - - - - -
While you poured the wine.

I thought I was gonna fall off my pac-a-seat.

How about the drunk lady in Cheyenne, wanted to hear "Funny Butt?"
I said,"no such song."
She said,(and this IS true)"I'm in the mood for love,
Simply because you're near me.
FUNNY BUTT when you're near me...."
Don't y'all love payin' gigs?

Many years ago Roger Miller had a song that started out;"England swings like a pendulum do". One of the lines in the song was about the "rosy red cheeks of the little children".My youngest brother, now deceased,God rest his soul, thought it was "rosy red cheeks of the little red hen"! Image Image

Once had a demanding-drunken request for the Johnny Bush song,"Green Snakes on the River", so that's what we call it now.

Reminds me of some Beach Boys CDs imported from Japan. On the lyric sheet for "Fun, Fun, Fun," instead of "Since he took your set of keys, you've been thinking that your fun is all through now," it was "Since he took your set of geese".

On the Rascals "Groovin": Life would be ecstacy, you and me and Leslie. Should be "you and me endlessly."

I'm amazed you've missed Elvis' laughing version of " Are You Lonesome Tonight" where he deliberately sings
"Do you gaze at your bald head,
and wish you had hair?"
Cheers
