This has nothing to do with Banjo's, my quest for knowledge is how do you tune a Tenor Guitar, you know one of those 4 string models???? Would it be tuned like a Tenor 4 string Banjo? Beats me.

Frank, as far as I know, you use the first four strings of a regular guitar.

I have a no-name 4 string open back b@mchO (gesundheit) from the '20s. I think of it as a tom tom with sympathetic strings.
If you think about it, a snare drum is really a neckless banjo...
