tom Brumley tone

I had a chance to try and buy Brumley's 11-string Mullen a few years back. I started playing some of his licks from his "In Time" album, and he left his tone on the guitar. Couldn't believe I was getting his tone without even trying. Probably playing through my NV 400 amp. Had to pass on it cause I would always miss the 12 string which is G# for my extended E9 tuning.
