I've played in all kinds of footwear from cowboy boots to tennis shoes, to loafers. The only shoe I had trouble with was with slick soles that would slip off the petals.

Just got my organmaster shoes. I got them a size big because they didn't have wide in my size, and the shoe is slightly too big but is comfortable. I did an A/B test with my Hey Dude's which is what I have been using.

First: I have VERY deformed and crippled ankles. My right foot is completely fused and rebuilt. So being able to rock my foot is a challenge. I found that the Organ Master shoes were significantly easier for me to rock my foot on the AB pedals, and easier to move to the other pedals accurately.

They came in about a week-10 days. A vast improvement on the hey dudes. But with the suede souls, don't use them in the rain or walking outdoors. These are just for playing.

I ordered a pair of OrganMaster shoes last week. Should be here soon, and I'll report back.

One word of warning. Don't try and walk in them. It is like walking in high heels. I almost keeled over the first time I stood up. But I gained 3 inches in height! :)

Does anyone else play bare foot? It may be uncommon, but I find it super comfortable, especially when rolling between 2 pedals.

I recall seeing Sneaky Pete playing live. It looked to me like he was wearing bowling shoes.

I settled on Moccasins. I can move my feet easier, and still look ok on stage versus tennis shoes or socks
