I used to wear shorts all the time playing lap steel until my wife took me aside after a show and told me how bad my knees looked from the audience!

My knee levers cut in a bit on my knees...legs. more comfortable with jeans or spandex....

Here in Hawaii we all wear shorts in the band unless we’re giging at the hotels..shoes instead of flip-flops! Paddles on all my levers..
