I played the Hayden Lake, Idaho Elk's Club 7pm to 10pm and I was home before midnite. How do you like that!

I must be one of the lucky few. Played NYE at the Silver Center in Seguin, TX with Paul Sanchez & Wrangler Country.
U.S.A.F. 1978-1982
2005 Carter S12U 7x5
1978 Sho-Bud Pro II Custom 8x4

If you can't be a good example, be a horrible warning.

I pulled the plug myself both Friday and Saturday. Huge spike in our part of the world. Did a 1 hour livestream instead and people pleasantly listened, posted and tipped. Trying to do this weekends gigs though nothing's really changed for the better. Just don't know what to do.

My Buddy and I lost a good gig (cancelled) at the local dance club because of Covid but was asked to sit in with a different group for a two hour entertainment at a 50 plus retirement establishment.

I reluctantly played one in a small venue that met the criteria here in VT - less than 30. It was a super spreader apparently.
I think I go the covid but very mild. I'm fully vaxed and boosted. Meanwhile our band leader is laid out with it.
Got tested and will find out Friday for sure.

I haven't played a NYE gig in a century.

BTW, Tony, that prime rib looks badass :D I played so many weddings that I never wanted to see another lobster or prime rib again in my life. But that looks like a game changer!

Really sorry to hear that, Jim. My sis-in-law works at DHMC. She called and said that the patient admissions went from 2,000 last week to 7,000 in one week!

Stay safe!

Not New Year's, but week after!

Great crowd, I think I saw one mask in the crowd, and two servers. Our banjo player just got off a 10 day rest from the 'Rona.

He probably got it from his banjo. I see he’s still not keeping a safe distance from it.
