Joe Minor. I THINK I was there the day that pic was taken-- wasn't that at the Shaker Woods festival? All I know is that Emmons sounded pretty darn good that day!! Made me wish I would have never gotten rid of mine!

sorry this is off topic, but just had to comment.

Help me a little---Per Berner's picture has wide pedals. I was under the impression that ShoBud went to narrow pedals with Pro II . I know nothing about the history. When did the pedals go narrow ?

I think the pedals went to the narrow style around 1976-1977.:)

Better watch out if you want a nice Pro-III Custom that I just finished refirbishing; that will be up on Ebay in the next day or so. It is dark green and double raise/single lower best sounded fingers shobud made in my opinion....it is one sweet ride if you want one.

Gino you are correct that pic was taken at shaker woods. We were there 3 times and are booked for next year. The emmons has great tone, but the bud is close and I can play better on the sho bud.Btw we play at highland vfw sat 11 11 8 to 12.

Had my Pro 111 for over 30 years and she's still playing great. I love the sound of the metal neck Sho-Buds. I know many prefer the wood necks but for me the Pro 111 with an E66 on E9th neck is an incredible sounding guitar.
