I received a copy of the Red Book Hymnal and will be going through it picking out some songs.
I have already tabbed out quite a few songs that are in the hymnal but if you have a request for a particular song, I sure will give it a try.

I have the "Red Back" as its often referred to as well, along with these two from the Baptist churches when I was playing with the worship team. All (3) are very similar in content with some of the songs being written in diff keys.

It seems so many of the old hymns are written in quite a few flats.
I think piano and organ players preferred flats and not sharps.
With guitar players it's the other way around.

You are correct Erv and is why my 84 year old mother loves 2flat or as they say on stage two down, Bb She said it’s difficult for her to play in sharps as all she sees is flats.

I have seen hymns written in 4 or 5 flats!
Those keys can make tabbing difficult!
