Having never been before, I have a couple of ignorance questions:

1) Are there guitars for sale? Is there a room/venue where people have stuff for sale?

2) Do attendees have a chance to participate playing in any learning environments? Are we expected to bring guitars with us for the training seminars?

3) Is there an exhibition hall where people show their stuff from their companies?

Thanks for tolerating stupid/ignorant questions.

Hey Mark Epstein:

1) Are there guitars for sale? Is there a room/venue where people have stuff for sale?
- yes, it's not a huge show, but lots of vendors show up, some with separate rooms, some with just tables, showing their stuff and I'm sure ready to sell.
Telonics, Justice, Infinity, etc

2) Do attendees have a chance to participate playing in any learning environments? Are we expected to bring guitars with us for the training seminars?
- I think every seminar is different, but I've seen some folks set up their guitar in the seminars

3) Is there an exhibition hall where people show their stuff from their companies?
- see #1

But for me, this is the event where I hear a huge array of extremely talented musicians (not just steel players) playing good time music (not just country) in a relaxed atmosphere and everybody's really friendly -- it's a no-miss event to me.

Looking forward to it. I'll play my little showcase set in Thursday at 1:00, or so I've been led to believe. Then I'm honored to be one of the MCs for the weekend. My bride, Irene, will be attending for the first time. I've warned her, it's total Steel Guitar Immersion.

I'm arriving on Thursday 1/9/20 at 11:50AM. Anybody arriving about that time that would like to share a cab ride to the hotel? Yellow Cab says it's about a $50 ride.
