Damir, I have a cassette of Ben Jack and maybe a CD. I will see if I can find. I know I have an LP of Jerry Jay & The JayWalkers with Ben. Made at his BeJay Studio. Will be in touch, J.R.

Jerry, Please correct me here if I am wrong but Bob White was married to Sammi Smith of the "Help Me Make Thru The Night" song in the early days. And I have a Bob White LP from back in the day that Ben recorded at BeJay Studio. J.R.

Yes, Bob was married to Sammi Smith. Their daughter songs so much like her mother it is scary. I got her to sing on “The Little O’ Oprey” recently. She is hesitant to sing. She has no clue how good she is!

Damir, I found the LP's and the Cassette I mention above. Picture's on the album also. Trying to take pictures and post them but I got to find better lighting to stop the flash on them. Will work on it today. Will let you know. J.R.

Ben Jack

Post by J R Rose »

Ben was a first class Gentleman and a great picker. Wish I knew how to share these recordings with you fellow forum members, this was recorded in 1995 with Maurice Anderson playing Bass. Awesome, J.R.

I had another Bigsby similarly reworked by Dick Miller with the second owner's decal name under a refin. Dick had added a NOS changer & a couple of pedals & polished all of the cast parts. Didn't Ben Jack have 3 Bigsbys? Good luck with your sale.

Cool guitar! This is the only Bigsby product I own. A number of years there was a guy selling them on ebay. He sorta milked them out one at a time over a fairly long period of time if I remember right. I've had this once 10 years maybe. It's fairly small.

Breathtaking guitar. I know whoever buys this will be very happy. I love just looking at my Bigsby, which is my prize possession. Oh but to play it!! Surprised you haven’t sold this by now. Just a killer guitar.

thanks Abe, Bigsby sure is a special instrument, I’m too surprised it didn’t sell by now at this price, but that’s ok, I’ll just keep enjoying it :)... I did some search on YouTube for Bigsby videos, and curiously enough, there is only a handful of videos available... I find that interesting, such an iconic instrument, and only a few videos, mostly Bobbe Seymour, if it wasn't for him, there would literally be almost no videos of Bigsby steels on there...

$8500???? And this is still here!?!? This is a fantastic price for this guitar. If I had the cash it would be sitting right next to my other Bigsby.
