She's a beauty Dick! I'd love to hear it sometime.

Is that one of the new chrome jackets that go around the reissue 705s?

Beautiful! Bet she has a nice personality, too.

Is that the "vaunted chrome 705?"

It is the 705 and I tried out several pickups and kept coming back to it. The clarity and string balance up and down the neck is beyond any guitar I've ever owned.

You’ve noticed what we’ve all noticed with the new MSA’s.
Balanced up and down and across the neck.
No Hot spots, No Weird spots, ONLY SWEET Spots!!!
Those we’re the first things I noticed with my Red n Black MSA,
and then again with my S10. I think this is a pretty common reaction

Since this is my first real steel (I had a sidekick in the late 70s or so) I had no frame of reference to notice that. But, I must say that I've noticed no dead spots or weird spots either - just doggone good tone throughout.

These guitars are nothing like the earlier models.I had a sidekick and a supersustain II and to me the new guitars are just much better tonewise.
