Here it is with my Sierra S-10, a very small guitar:

Here's with a Carter D-10. You tend to lose the benefit of the trays with a double body:

There is width to spare with the Carter. Full extension is about 11" between the supports:

Thanks to Ross Shafer and Sierra Instruments for donating the first run of these workstands to the forum. They sold out in 3 days! Thanks, guys. Very much appreciated.

More are on the way. Ross sent me this photo of the new batch he's making. You can pre-order yours from The Steel Guitar Forum Store at https://www.steelguitarshopper.com/peda ... workstand/.

My work stand arrived and boy is it great! I am really happy I ordered this. It’s quality workmanship, strong and sturdy. It was easy to assemble and it works just like it’s supposed to. The shipping was fast too! I’m a happy customer.
A big thanks to Bob and to Ross.

A slight modification...

Post by Steven Pearce »

So it took a day or 2 to come up with an easy
mod that will keep my (save the jokes, I know😎it was a gift from my Mom)
Maverick, from slipping off the stand. Here we go...
Cheers.
