Here's with a Carter D-10. You tend to lose the benefit of the trays with a double body:

There is width to spare with the Carter. Full extension is about 11" between the supports:

A slight modification...
So it took a day or 2 to come up with an easy
mod that will keep my (save the jokes, I know
it was a gift from my Mom)
