Yes Chuck, I've been a fan of The Hillbilly Hellcats for years, saw you once in LA and in Seattle a few years back and you were fantastic! I can only imagine what you could do on pedal steel!
Now on to the next song. Yes William I'd like to do "A Way To Survive" next. I really got A lot out of "Storms Never Last". It was indeed a "study"!

Danny Boy or Way to Survive?

Joe Cook, thank you, that's kind of you to say so. I'll tell you, I thought about whether to start pedal steel late in life. A steeler in Dallas last week told me I was 40 years too late, half-kiddingly. But another guy said he thought 65 was the perfect age. He probably just wanted to sell me a steel. I've been playing Hawaiian steel, B11, C#m, and A high bass for 5 years, and have a half decent set I can play at festivals. I'm kind of fortunate in that I can add pedal steel to the Hillbilly Hellcats as soon as I'm ready. In Dallas I saw quite a few singing steel players, so that's what I'm gonna do.
