Neil,
If you look at the picture I think you can see that the "Rose" is standing on top of a display and balanced only on the two front legs. We had more fun with people looking and trying to figure out how it was standing there. The truth is I cut holes in the bottom of the rubber feet on the front legs and had the leg extened through them and sticking into two holes in the display. it looked like it was just balanced.
That year was fun!
Buddy Emmons had Sarah play on his set and when she finished he took his Derby off and placed it on her head. The crowd went wild.
Just a memory

Labor of love there. Restorations are one thing, but that guitar was never really built, so my hat is off to you for completing the build in the manner it was headed originally.

One of the things I find special about this is going the distance to find the rose decals for the necks. I think those just make the guitar.

Good on you and I wish you many happy hours with this special instrument.

Thanks to all for the kind words about Rose! Had a great visit with Andy on his way through. Did a little picking for him on Blondie. Rose wasn't in the playing "stall" at the time. :) Andy, since your visit I found all new old stock changer fingers for the Rose on ebay and will be installing them. With that upgrade she will be as sweet as possible, in as new condition. A couple more shots. Me and my Sho~Buddy Kevin gettin' her rodded up.
Sincere Thanks,
Neil

That is certainly Kathy Sacra. I worked in Nashville and on the road with her in the early 80's. She worked for Shot for a while.

Ron,
Thanks for setting me straight on the picture. Also Gene cleared it up. Altho it is not Sarah, she does remember the day and the "Rose" at Scotty's that year.
So glad I took this project on......!!!!
