What's a good way to mark pedal rods?

I didn't know Bruce had a website. could somebody post it please? thanks
I have his phone number, but I know he'a a busy man and hate to bother him. I just called him a couple of weeks ago to order a pull rod.
I didn't think about puttin the numbers on the hook end, that would work just as good and be out of sight to. Thanks

I use wire numbering tape that I get at Electronic City in Burbank but any Radio Shack should have them. I put them near the top of the rod right about 3/4 inch beneath the hook. Then I put clear heat shrink tubing over the numbers so they can't dry up and fall off like they normally would after a couple years.To set up in the dark,I used to carry one of those stereo flashlights that you wear like a pair of glasses and I even played with them on and that worked great too on dark stages,but it geeked everybody out so now I carry a small flashlight for those occasions. -MJ-

Paint each pedal rod a different color, in the order the colors appear in the spectrum, from left to right. You'll become an expert at remembering the color order.

...only kidding, electrical wire markers are good.

at the top of the rod where you can't see it after assembly make a small file groove ! !! !!!

Instead of wrapping with electrical tape, why not use heat shrink tubing? Available at electronic parts supply stores, it comes in all sizes and colors. It would not be subject to eventual unwrapping like tape and it would really do a neat job. I haven't tried it, so I don't know if you could get it over the hook end of the rod or not. The stuff is twice as large before you heat it, so it might work with a little effort. You could always un-screw the pedal connector, but that would be asking for trouble to get everything back to the right spot.

We are placing the white plastic collars with black numbers on the pedal rods. they're split and will slide onto any pedal rod and are very readable. They're just the
right size and look great.
