I ordered some strings on Friday last week, received them yesterday, just like clockwork. Very easy to do business with.
I once wanted to see how long a third string would last on my PP. I left it on for 13 jobs before I got scared and ashamed, then replaced it. I wanted to know how long it would actually go. I ran out of guts before it broke! I have been using Live Steel for well over a year with no issues at all. I love the short winds, I feel of them at the wind to place the flat side against the finger.

Tried 'em.
Didn't like 'em.
Didn't realise I had to abuse the manufacturer. Life would be short!
(No string breakage, though!)
Tosser.

I have used Sid's strings from the beginning and have never broken a string. Well I did break a 10th once. Love them, the best I have used. Would not think of changing brands. Even my close friendship with Sid would not compel me to post this if it were not true. To me something just don't seem right about the original post.

I almost never get in the middle of something like this.
Well just call and complain and he will call you an asshole who couldn t play home on the range, and see how you like it.
An old saying goes there are 3 sides to everyone's story, your side, their side and the truth. Since we only have one side of the story I'll reserve judgement on the truth.

I feel compelled to make a statement. I am NOT a professional musician but I do think I'm a professional person.

In all my business dealings I've been on both sides of an issue like this. I've had to call and "complain" about many things to many persons/vendors. What I've always said is, Don't just complain! State the problem and offer a suggested solution and see what resolution is offered. Keeping in mind they don't HAVE to give you anything.

But I will say that I've had nothing but great service from LSS and I've been very satisfied with the product.
