I'm very satisfied with my Boss RT 20
You can even hook an expression pedal to it to precisely change the rotary speed while playing.

Being a keyboard player by trade I have 2 real Leslie's that I use to tote around with a B3 .....I now use a Neo Ventilator II for my Leslie simulator .... I am going to pick up a Yamaha MX-61 and go into the Ventilator for keyboard duties , and just get a EHX B9 for guitar duties when wanting an organ sound ....The Ventilator II has a setting for using the Leslie simulator with a kayboard, and also a setting for using it with guitar or pedal steel ....Jim

Do you guys recommend putting the organ simulator before or after the volume pedal?

I put the organ simulator before the volume pedal. I read someplace that that's where it should go, and that makes sense to me because it drop notes when the input falls off. It seems to need a strong signal. Or at least my EHX C9 does. If the pedal was after the volume pedal it would drop a lot more notes.
But then I just got this pedal. I hope someone with more experience chimes in.

Thanks, Paul. I will also have my distortion (Rat) before the volume pedal. You think it makes any difference whether the Rat goes before or after the organ box, as long as both are before the VP?

I have a distortion pedal first, then to the C9 organ simulator, then a delay pedal, then to the volume pedal, then to a Wet Reverb, then to a Sarno V8 preamp. Seems to work well.
Actually the first thing is a Sarno Black Box, then all the rest.
I think you can put the distortion after the organ pedal, but I haven't tried it.

Hi Jim,
Sorry for the late reply .... I run my Ventilator II before the volume pedal ....I get a consistent signal straight out of the steel into the Vent II and then on to the volume pedal .....Jim

I got my effects before the volume pedal. In this order: steel-matchbox-tuner-B9-Leslie-Rat-delay-volume pedal-Amp. I had a bad hum with the Daisy chain power supply I was using, ended up getting the Fuel Tank power supply and that worked out real nice, it got rid of the noise and have plenty of juice to power everything.

I've got one of those stands for my effects also, I really like it.

Very cool Erv. It's nice having everything right there on the stand. I positioned the Leslie by-pass switch and the B-9 switch in line so I can turn them both on at the same time. I hit the Leslie with the thumb and the B-9 with the trigger finger.
