All three of mine (all are older models built in Oregon, not the newer models from Mexico) employ a 1/4" phone jack for their speaker connection, which makes experimenting with different speaker cabinets quick and easy.

Additionally, they both have been produced for a long period of time, so there's a gazillion used units out there. They have a good reputation, so if you find you don't like it (doubtful), you shouldn't have a problem if and when it comes time to sell.
I actually got rid of my Blues Jr for a Tonedog ProSenior - the Fender Pro Jr circuit with a 12" Weber and a Birch cab. Great for lead guitar and lap steel. I don't typically use this amp when switching back & forth between pedal steel and lead guitar on the amp, as I like more head room on psg and less on lead guitar. I use my 2-channel Silvertone TwinTwelve for gigs where I play both lead and psg.
