Yea... Hard drives fail too.

Unfortunately there is no perfect, fail safe, solution.

Multiple backups is the safest strategy.

I have several CD-Rs burned in the late 90s that no longer play. :(

I have vinyl from the 50s that play as good as they did in the 70s...
2 pedal steels, a lapStrat, and an 8-string Dobro (and 3 ukes)
More amps than guitars, and not many effects

I just sold my CC-222mkIII last week. pfft
