Chas from what I have heard, you play more steel with one hand tied behind your back than many others do with two hands, and that
includes me.
My source comes from Crockett California.
Not a bad source.
Gene your thumb is sore from picking your nose. You should have used your right hand.
Here's something for you.
East is East and West is West and the wrong place I have chose, shoulda been out there with Speedy & Noel, Murphey and those instead
of sitting here pickin my nose.
Aloha,,Adios and all that Jazz.
I forgot your age group,,,see ya later Alligator,
[This message was edited by Jody Carver on 10 December 2002 at 09:50 AM.]

Well, I got it straight from the horses mouth (just about).
'Went over to Ray Montee's house yesterday to see and hear in person the finer points of this great style of playing as demonstrated by Ray Montee himself on his QUAD neck original Bigsby pedal steel.
The Tone knob is on the right side and Rays application of said knob is nothing less than Classic!
Bar Slams, Bar Chatters, the classic Speedy West tunings, the whole bit!
Another Portland PSG mainstay, namely Doug Jones, was also in attendance for this exibition of this style of historical PSG significance.
Thanks Ray!!!
