Not long after I was married I mentioned to my wife while we were on a playing job that I was being distracted by my picks wanting to fall off. She immediately said, why don't you put double sided false fingernail tape inside your picks. I did so, and my problem has been solved for the past 23 years.

I started using the Stevens (now John Pearse) design over 25 years ago, and have never looked back.
They never fall off, and they'll never hurt your fingertips, either!

I just use a fender medium flat pick when playing between six string and steel (please no flames) lol

Let your fingers get "fat" stop the ego trip
and quit the "Slim Fast". You will find it difficult to "pick your nose" in the beginning,,but you will play better.

O.K. Jack,you get too give a full report on "How I Now Keep My Picks From Flying Off" at the Jan.Jam. I'll cover the part about skinning cats,coyotes and fox.Heck who knows,we may even find time to do some pickin

Jack,
I use the picks from red rojah, they are black and are called the phoenix picks. Kind of pricey, 7.95 a pair but they stay on real good.
