Ok, concerning the question about the height of my Sho-Bud pictured a few posts earlier. Actually the guitar is only sitting about 3/4 of an inch higher than my Carter. The front legs actually have collars on them between the pedal bar and large locking collar which prevents the pedal bar from moving. Most likely the guitar was owned by a taller previous owner.

Tony, after your email, I took a second look at the picture. If the guitar is only 3/4" higher, unless I'm seeing an optical illusion, the pedals look like they're sticking way up in the air. If they really are, perhaps just removing the collars is all that's needed to lower the guitar. The pedals will lower when you shorten the legs.

Jim, it's an optical illusion, the pedals are not far off the floor at all, they are about the same as my Carter.
Thanks

Ain't nothing in the world looks cooler than a Sho-Bud, except a 'Bud and an old Twin. This from a dobro player with an Emmons, and a Peavey.

Amen, Jim Bob. I've got two. I am forced to play one of the stock light weight production
guitars while I wait for my Buds to come up from Nashville. My sound man told me to take it and throw it in the river. It just doesn't compare to the Sho-Bud tone.
