It has been my experience, especially with the Peavey Nashville 112 to install the exact replacement part number for the reverb tank. I tried what was supposed to be compatable part numbers only to find they will feedback at high levels, distort, hum and produce an assortment of other undesirable tones and noises. The Mod brand tank of the correct part number is the bomb for the Nashville 112. Great tone, depth, sensitivity and durability. It changed an ok steel amp into one of my all time favorite steel guitar amps. I hope someone at MOD reverb tanks reads this. Free tanks for everybody!
Rod, glad it worked out for you!
Jimbeaux, try emailing AmplifiedParts. I have a feeling they will restock what we need if we make a squeak about it, as I also need another tank for my spare 112.

I just got an Evans amp, and it needs a new pan. I ordered it today, and the only place I could find one on line, was Amplifiedparts.com. They had it in stock, and I'm waiting on the mail truck, now. Good pricing, too. But don't spend too much time on their website. They got a lot of stuff.

They still show it on their website as backordered but I emailed them and they said they expect to have them back in stock by end of this week or next week. Here's hoping...

Regarding the Eminence EPS-12c speaker. The Nashville 112 is 80 watts and so is the Roland Cube 80XL that I have. I wonder is the Eminence speaker will make a positive difference in the cube?

Your thoughts?

Got my MOD reverb tank in and finally took time to install it tonight. Tommy nailed it on this one for sure. Much smoother tone and the reverb is nice and lush like it should be rather than having that metallic sound in the stock Accutronics tank. They are both 3 spring tanks so obviously something different in the electronics. I almost hated to cover the tank up with the vinyl bag since they are already black and nice looking.

As for the speaker change, I can only say that my NV-112 has a Jensen Neo 4 ohm and I couldn't be happier!!!! By far the best sounding NV-112 I've ever played thru.

Recently replaced the reverb in my Nashville 400 and Nashville 112 amps. Noticeable improvement for sure.

Thanks Tommy for the heads up.

Hey Folks,

Ordered the Tank a week ago. Got it today and it's easy to install like mentioned before. Their website said back ordered but I ordered anyhow. Just a heads up and a much better unit. Chris

Thanks
