Well, everything seems OK thus far.

I backed the (Pic-Jon Light #1) screw off 1/2 turn and tuned the G#-F# nylon nut. Bingo!

That was all I did.

Sure do appreciate all the input and help.

Hope it stays in tune.

PS: OK, now what should I do with the vertical lever. Anything other than lower 5th? Everything now is standard Emmons.

Jim is one of the really good mechanics here and reading this is a comfort since I, too, have been there/done that. Although I'd also back off on that spring, on general principle, I can understand not messing with it if you've got your problem solved.

I am very committed to lowering the B's with the vert. plus, you've got split screws there for both 5 & 10 to make your V + A pedal split.
