Hey Russ

Still working on the details. I'll post more details when available. No matter what, Jim's show is gonna be a great. I would get reservations ASAP! The artists, the band, and the crew are just a great bunch to be around. Its just gonna be fun to hang out. My buddy Chuck Campbell might even let me play for him again

Thanks Lana, I hear the snow storm chased you out of Iowa. We'll try not to have that happen here if you get to come. It snowed the last time we had the show, and Russ Hicks had to drive back through WV in it to see his folks. Our Groundhog said we should be OK this year. We'll see. If it does snow at that time of year it won't be anything serious. Hope you can make it.

Jim, we are looking forward to being there my friend, and I appreciate all that you have done for us. There is no doubt that this show will be a great one and all who can possibly find a way should.

This truly is a fantastic line up of players this year, just as it always has been, and having Rick Troyer there with us is indeed a big plus! I'm really looking forward to it for sure! Jim puts on one of the finest shows in the nation.

Thanks for the input fellas. It is getting closer to the date. There are a couple of changes in the lineup.
With much regret, Buck Reid has had to cancel due to a road trip with Lyle Lovett during that time. Also, Laney will not be able to make it with Russ. She has been away from her business at home too much lately and must stay home and catch up with things. Ray Walker has family obligations that have come up that he must attend to. We have one new addition to the schedule. Carco Clave will be taking one of the vacant spots. You may have heard him in Dallas. Don Helms will be bringing Chris Malpass with him to sing all those good ole Hank songs. That will be worth the trip by itself. And then you still got Buddy Charleton. John Hughey, Russ Hicks, and Herby have become charter members of this show. I'll post a schedule as soon as I can.
If you haven't got your room yet you may be out of luck. You need to call Ramada ASAP and see if there are any left.
Call Herby and sign up for his seminar too. Time is getting short. He needs to know how much material to bring so he has enough for everyone.

Hey Jim, I was wondering if you're going to have a "day by day" schedule available for the show.

I'm planning on driving over for just one day, and well, not to slight any of the other tremendous players on the lineup, I want to know when Buddy Charleton's playing.

Do you think you'll have a schedule like that available ahead of time?

Still a great line up Jim...Sad that Buck can't make it...what an awesome player.

I want to invite everyone to tune in to the April 14th Steelin By Request show (8 PM CST) on SteelRadio.com where I will be featuring recordings by these players...Nothing like a little warm up!!

Hey Lana, you're right. It's still a great line-up and we have one more positive addition. Rob Parker called me and he's coming too. He'll be here with all his recordings and to sing along with the guys too. I'm gettin' excited 'bout it.
