What happens so often is the sound varies in each venue, some places a band could play accousticly and be heard in the far corners of the hall.Other places one could paint two more numbers on the amps to get it up to twelve. A sound man ears have been responsible more than once for a terrible mix,but also for great mixes. But to the steel men or other musicians most often they get a complaint they are not heard. I'm willing to bet that most of the audience left that show thrilled to the max that they heard a living all time great legend. Although we single out certain players especially of an instrument we love to hear, the average audience is listening to the vocals and their favorite all time Artist. I'll bet they will be at the next show. Ray has a great band that suits him to a "T" that keeps his check book full enough to pay the salaries. Hoping to get him down here to our part of Florida.
