Yes, but that's a little different... the actual value of that 1924 Gibson Loar mandolin is $140,000 according to the current VGM price guide. So the seller's price is less than double the book value (about 1.6 of book value). But the Fry Pan is priced at about 12 times market value.This Lloyd Loar F-5 mandolin is $225,000!
