Letter to family and friends for Kurt

I sent this out to friends and family. You may want to do it in some fashion or may not want to do it at all. If I even get 20% of my family and friends to help, perhaps it will help win Kurt the van. steve t
Dear Friends and Family:
On behalf of a fellow pedal steel guitar player who was made a paraplegic, , I am asking my friends and family to cast a vote for one of our members, Kurt Kowalski , so that he has a solid chance of winning a new fully handicap- assessable mini-van.
THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR MONEY, ONLY FOR YOUR VOTE, as often as possible. Please note that the site asks for your name email address, your relationship with Kurt, and for you to check a box that says you agree. You can UNCHEKCK the box that asks if you want information from this organization. Also there is a question involving basic math (2 + 6 += ???) you need to answer.
Here is Kurt's story:
Most of of you know my story of the motorcycle accident that was "head on" by a distracted diver leaving me a T-12 Paraplegic in a wheelchair.
I never ask for much help, but, this time I am asking from my Steel Guitar Brothers and Sisters for a "Vote".
May is National Mobility Awareness Month, and the Organization NMEDA is giving away a fully handicap accesible mini van to a deserving disabled person.
There is NO COST, There are NO PLEDGES... all it takes is 30 seconds of your time to vote for me.
This is truly something that I do need, as time goes on.
I have been transfering in and out of a used, high mileage 2001 Dodge Caravan that is NOT ACCESIBLE and is getting tougher as time goes on and as I am aging and has been "killing" me with repairs. Just replaced a transmission.
I truly could use this NEW VAN for commuting to work, Volunteering at the Hospital Spinal Cord Unit and My local VFW and playing some steel guitar gigs.
If you could find it in your heart to "Send a vote my way". I would greatly appreciate it.
