Hitler was one of the worst mass murderers of modern times. To make him the subject of a lighthearted joke gives his memory a dignity that it doesn't deserve.

I understand the sentiment Tony but respectfully (and fwiw) Mel Brooks made the observation, and I paraphrase "The way to defeat Hitler is to ridicule him".

Now that it's April 2 I'd point out that the original posting was from an Apr Fool article that goes back to (?)1990 in Frets magazine I believe.

It pops up annually on the reso guitar forums.

The guitar photo is not a gag but the origins are not known to me. Maybe Mike knows.
