While I love my Twin, only in comparison to a Session 500 can you call it "lightweight."

Nothing beats the sound of a Fender Twin to my ears, but it's too darn heavy. Lately I have been using an Evans AH200 head for all my gigs and touring. I have one of the older models with the tube pre-amp. It's small, weighs 5 pounds, and I love the way it sounds. It gets pretty loud too. I use it with a 15" Evans cabinet. The tubes give it a little warmth, especially at louder volumes, but I have heard that the all-solid state version sounds good too.

The only downside is that that the reverb isn't great. It sounds too digital to me. But then again, nothing compares to the Twin reverb. ;-)

I thought about the cube and the lower price, but I just don't need all the "modeling" electronics and would prefer using my own effects setup, so I'm going with the NV 112 instead.

However, if this works for you then by all means best wishes for your continued success.

Home Depot has yellow fold up hand truck, I use it all the time for my NV400. The wheels fold in and the handle slides into the base, the whole thing is about 3ft x 2inches when folded, carries 150 lbs.
