Gtr amps are not good for steel. Plug a steel directly into a gtr amp and it will distort. Steel pick ups are to hot for gtr amps.

Except for the Fender twin reverb silver face...or the super reverb ...15 speaker , the best steel amp ever for few players i guess

Polytone amp ... could be good for steel ?
