Yep it was a great day in Abilene. Some great picking by Randy Palmore and Albert Talley. Wrap that up with some super singing by Curtis Potter, Debbie Talley, and Terry Thompson and it was a spendid afternoon.Lots of happy people. Kudos have to go along too to Danny Letz, Duane Burns, and especially to Larry Toliver, the three cabelleros that really holds this together and promotes steel guitar in the West Texas area.

I know the people there really appreciated the generosity of the Ball family for providing the "Barn" for the get together and the drinks for all the folks. I believe the next meeting will be the 18th of Dec, looking forward to it.

I'll have the pics posted as soon as possible but in another thread. Great to see, and vist with my very good friends Bobby Tuttle and Bobby Rountree and their lovely ladies. It was a good day.

Hey Fred, we sure enjoyed visiting with you. My computer crashed a couple of weeks ago and I just got back online this morning. It was a great show with Randall Palmore and Albert Talley. Hope to see you again soon.

Bye the way, where are those pictures you took?
[This message was edited by Bob Tuttle on 06 November 2005 at 06:52 PM.]

Folks, I'm sorry about the pics. As you may or may not know we had to dig our dig camera out of a ditch full of water and we thot it would be ok. It evidently wasn't but we've sent the cards to Dallas to a company that says they can recover the data. When we get it back we'll certainly put it on here. sorry Bob and folks but we're doin' the best we can.

Finally got the camera downloaded in Dallas. The quality isn't as good as usual but here are the pics from the October 30th meeting. Just clik on the site below:

Sorry for the delay but water creates mayhem with a digital camera.
