Hey Jim,
That sounds like the setup I have...except I think on my C6 neck I only have 4 pedals and one knee...according to the previous owner. I got it from Lindell Thomas here on the forum...not sure where he got it...I think it was here on the Forum but not sure...maybe it was yours! That would be cool. It's a blonde. I can send or post some pics if you want, or they can be found here:

As I said earlier, mine was stolen. We had insurance, and I never wanted it back! Unfortunately, my '58 Flying V was stolen along with it. Also two Tweed Twins and much more stuff. At that time, the V was just considered a 11/12 year old ugly used guitar that no one really wanted! If I still had it, I'd sell it and get a condo/house in Florida, and get away from this awful Ohio weather! -15 degrees tonight!
Dr. Z Surgical Steel amp, amazing!
"74 Bud S-10 3&6
'73 Bud S-10 3&5(under construction)
'63 Fingertip S-10, at James awaiting 6 knees
'57 Strat, LP Blue
'91 Tele with 60's Maple neck
Dozen more guitars!
Dozens of amps, but SF Quad reverb, Rick Johnson cabs. JBL 15, '64 Vibroverb for at home.
'52 and '56 Pro Amps

Dollar per pound...wow! Man, I wish I only paid that much. Sorry y'all have had bad experiences with the Crossover. I know at least a few have had good experiences. Hopefully I am in the latter camp. I just don't think D10's come around for under a grand these days so I thought I'd take a chance. I hope it works out. If not, I'll be looking to some of you Crossover experts for advice!

I have a Crossover permanently set up in my music den, together with a Fender/Sho-Bud hybrid. The former has eight pedals and one knee lever, the latter three pedals and four knee levers. They both have their place, but if I were going on the road I would probably take a different pedal steel, or maybe a non-pedal.
I hate to hear about gear getting stolen, even a crummy Crossover
My Great uncle used to play in some bar bands and after he quit playing and passed away, his only daughter developed a drug addiction and pawned off his guitars...I honestly don't even know what they were, but I heard they were valuable...I'm thinking along the lines of '59 Strat...I think he just had 2 or 3, and she got some good money from them. Not sure why she didn't sell the amps too, but I'm glad she didn't! I was cleaning my Great Aunt's attic and going through her records after she passed away when I came across the Brownface Fender Pro and Reverb...I almost passed out, couldn't believe it! My cousin was nice enough to sell them to me on a "pay as you can" basis.
So I feel like the guitars were "stolen" from the family in a way, but at least we have the amps. I wouldn't have been able to afford the guitars, anyway, I guess!
My Crossover is going to be permanently set up in my music room for now, not moved around. Hope it works well for me.
