What does JI stand for ?

Again,,,,,, make sure the tuners are in tune with each other! I was quite shocked to see the difference in my bands four tuners.

Henry - JI stands for just intonation. There is also ET which stands for equal temprement. Their are also LOTS of other tunings to explore, and LOTS of folks with more experience than myself, and LOTS of opinions on what is best. AND, what Mr. Billings just said about tuners couln't be more true.
The thing to do is, do a search & read up a bit about whats going on with tunings and your guitar. Try not to be overwhelmed by it and try some out. Whatever you try, give it some time, and figure out which works best for you.
Also, in the good old days, folks didn't have tuners at all. They tuned by ear and they sure made some great music. So, find your own path.
